(1) Evaporator for cooling liquid refrigerant. Used to cool liquid carrier coolants - water, brine or glycol solution. This type of evaporator commonly used are horizontal evaporator, vertical tube evaporator and spiral tube evaporator.
(2) evaporator for cooling air. This type of evaporator has a cooling tube and a cooling fan.
